BIOGRAPHY
President of EducAcción and of the Sustainability Committee of the Unicaja Foundation, of which she is a trustee. A psychologist, MBA, and PhD in Economics and Business Administration, she specializes in Business Strategy, Corporate Governance, and Sustainability Management (ESG).
Her professional career supports her contributions as a member of the Scientific Committee of Cifal UNITAR and the EducAcción Chair for ESG Impact at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Committed to educational innovation, she has founded and promoted educational centers at all levels, as well as initiatives such as the Wakana Earth Project—a nature classroom—the SDG Certificate for training, certification, and ESG impact measurement programs, and the Institute for Sustainable Development in the Metaverse, which allows students to explore environmental issues ethically and without harming the environment.
METHODOLOGY
As an author and speaker, Sonia has contributed to the debate on sustainability and education, participating in events such as TEDx and "Aprendemos Juntos" (Let's Learn Together) published by El País and BBVA. She is the author of the book "EducAcción!: 10 actions for the change that our children deserve and need," establishing herself as one of the 25 most influential people in the field of education in Spain.
